It was a conscious decision by TRIDHA, at its inception that parents take turns in sending
Snack / Lunch for the whole class and that it would be only vegetarian. No exception
would be made except on medical grounds. The following should be borne in mind
while sending the meal:
- Food should be home-made, simple, wholesome, non-spicy and freshly
cooked. - Lunch may comprise of rice, roti, dal, vegetable, curds, raita or salad.
- Continental meal should be accompanied with whole-wheat bread.
- Deserts should be home made.
- No item made from white refined flour (maida) is allowed.
- The quantity should be sufficient for the whole class.
- Snack should reach by 9:00 a.m. and lunch by 11:00 a.m. In case of delay
the office should be informed. If intimation is not received food would be
ordered and parents would be expected to pay for it. - The office must be informed of any changes in snack / lunch turn.
- The snack / lunch bag must be labelled and left at the reception. It should not be
taken to the class directly.
